Helen B. Kerr, 90, of Sedalia, died Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2003, at Bothwell Regional Health Center.
She was born March 20, 1913, in Sedalia, a daughter of John Wesley and Margaret Borchers Lewis. On June 29, 1935, in Sedalia, she was married to Chester W. Kerr, who died in 1985.
Mrs. Kerr worked for Town and Country Shoes for 23 years before retiring Sept. 1, 1975.
Survivors include a son, Charles R. Kerr, of Independence; two daughters, Judy Schick, of Sedalia, and Katherine Rudd, of Knob Noster; a sister, Ann Cothern, of Ramsey, Ill.; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was also predeceased by a brother and a sister.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Heckart/Gillespie Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Randy May officiating. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Lyle Rudd, Doug Weller, Joe Arnold, James Larimore, Thom Vandiver and Eric Harvey.
Friends may call after 12 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, where the family will receive visitors from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday.
