Church, where she was a member of the Dorcas
class and taught Sunday school, and Southland Christian Church in Springfield. She was co-owner of Kresse Products. She had been active in the Washington School PTA. She was a graduate of Warrensburg High School.

Surviving are a son, James E. Kresse, and his wife, Janet, of Sedalia; a daughter, Marilyn Sue Owens, and her husband, Keith, of Springfield; five grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. She was predeceased by a brother, James M. Warden; a half sister, Marguerite
Howard; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, 2006, at Heckart/Gillespie Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Dr. Donald J. Allcorn and the Rev. Randy Martin officiating. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Harold Bergmann, Richard McQuitty, Keith Owens, John
Swisher, Steven Kresse, and Jeff Nusser . Honarary pallbearers will be nephews, Harold Green, Joe Kresse, Irven Kresse, David Bowman and Milton Kresse.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until service time Saturday at
the funeral home.

The family suggests memorial contributions to "Grounds" for Worship fund at
Southland Christian Church, 1630 West Republic Road, Springfield, MO 65807.
Frances L. Kresse, 87, of Springfield, formerly of Sedalia, died Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2006, at Magnolia Square in Springfield.

She was born Sept. 21, 1918, in Mayview, a daughter of James Logan and Myrla Johns Warden. On Nov. 6, 1938, in Sedalia, she was married to Elmer Joseph Kresse, who died Nov. 23, 2000.
