Floyd Henry Kronk Sr., 79, of Sedalia, died Tuesday, April 4, 2006, at Four Seasons Living Center.
Mr. Kronk was born Sept. 7, 1926, in Gore, a son of Richard and Icey Floyd Gibbney Kronk.
Mr. Kronk was a Baptist and enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. He loved being with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a truck driver and lived in Sedalia most of his life.
Surviving are four sons, Floyd H. Kronk Jr., and his wife, Sandra, of Sedalia, Bill
Kronk, and his wife, Betty, of Clinton, Joe Kronk, of Kansas City, and Loyd Kronk, of
Wichita, Kan.; five daughters, Lillian Whittington, and her husband, Tom, of Climax
Springs, Barbara Belt, of Sedalia, Candy Kronk and Dora Kronk, both of Wichita, Kan., and Donna House, of Texas; two sisters, Margie Wagner, of Independence, and
Charlotte Anderson, of South Carolina; a brother, Truman Kronk, of Springfield; and
several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter,
Alberta Mahalovich.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, April 7, 2006, at Hopewell Cemetery, with the Rev. Bob Wasson officiating. Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2591 will conduct military honors at the graveside.
Pallbearers will be Chris Whittington, Dilbert Clark Jr., Scott Whittington, Hank Kronk, James Kronk, Johnathon Snyder, William Kronk Jr., and Corey Harris.
