Kristine Lea White, 41, of rural Otterville, passed away Saturday, October 3, 2009, at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia.

She was born May 20, 1968, in Warrensburg, MO, the daughter of Larry Quinley and Billie Northern Quinley.

She spent most of her youth in Sedalia attending grade school and graduating from Smith-Cotton High School in 1986. She earned an Associate's Degree in Accounting from State Fair Community College.

On March 11, 1995, at Wesley United Methodist Church, she wed Phillip Seth White, who survives of the home. They made their home in Otterville, MO. She was a member of First Baptist Church. As an active member she spent the last three years as the Children's Ministry Coordinator. She was the president of the Otterville PTO and was a substitute teacher for the district. Kristine was a very talented and gifted person and loved her family and God. She shared her gift of communication with everyone around her. She enjoyed many hobbies including scrapbooking and craft shows.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her parents, Billie Quinley, of Sedalia, and Larry Quinley, and his wife, Carole, of Warrensburg; four daughters, Cassel, of Sedalia, and Rebecca, Sarah and Abigail, of the home; two grandchildren, Grace and Seth; one brother, Bruce Quinley, and his wife, Cristina, and their two children, Aubrie and Kyle, of Tulsa, OK; two stepsisters, Lisa Meyer, and her husband, Gary, and their two children, and Laurie Van Cleav, and her husband, Mike, and their three children.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church in Sedalia, with the Rev. Dr. Drew Hill officiating.

Casket bearers will be Jim Davis, Michael Sanders, Greg Moore, Jeff Tilley, Royal Petersen, and Steve Mallard.

Burial will be in Highland Sacred Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Kristine's Basket, a fund for the family's expenses, in care of First Baptist Church.
