James Kenneth Larimore, 64, of Green Ridge, died Thursday, August 26, 2004 at his home.

He was born October 2, 1939, in Benton County, son of Jim K. and Goldie Merle Sapp Larimore. On October 24, 1959, in Green Ridge, he was married to Sue Harbit, who survives of the home.

Mr. Larimore worked as a carpenter, painter and worked many years at
Turner’s Sheet Metal Shop in Sedalia. He retired as a farmer, a vocation he loved when his health failed. He enjoyed drinking coffee and visiting with his friends at The Pit Stop Café. He was a member of the Green Ridge Presbyterian Church.

Also surviving are two sons, Mike Larimore, and his wife, Lori, and Tracy
Larimore, and his wife, Joani, all of Green Ridge; and four grandchildren, Derik, Erin, Garrett and Laurel Larimore.

Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, August 30, 2004 at Green Ridge Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Gene Ekstrand officiating.

Honorary pallbearers will be his grandchildren.

Burial will be in Green Ridge Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, August 29, 2004 at Heckart/Gillespie Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Green Ridge Presbyterian Church or the Green Ridge Recreation Organization.
