Ruth Augusta Lewis, 95, died Friday, Aug. 11, 2006.
She was born Nov. 22, 1910, in Florence, a daughter of Charles and Lillian
Sanders Brunkhorst. She was married to Ralph Otto Lewis, who died July 6, 1985.
Surviving are a daughter, Leah Ruehle, and her husband, Paul, of Smithville; a
brother, Glenn Brunkhorst, and his wife, Peggy, of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two
granddaughters, Lynne Reuber, and her husband, Kent, of San Mateo, Calif., and Nancy Ruehle, of Lawrence, Kan.; and a nephew, Gordon Brunkhorst, and his wife, Barbara, of Florence.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Mary Caroline Lewis, in infancy; and
three brothers, Dennis Brunkhorst, Dean Brunkhorst and Charles Brunkhorst.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Bethlehem Baptist Cemetery in
Florence, with the Rev. Dr. Michael Lockhart officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Bothwell
Hospice.
