Mr. Lowery was a member of the Knob Noster Presbyterian Church. He was a retired
master sergeant of the United States Air Force, serving in the Vietnam War. After his
retirement from the Air Force he worked as a rural mail carrier for the Knob Noster Post Office.
Survivors include his wife, Suzanne Lowery, of the home; a daughter, Elizabeth Ann
Schmidt, and her husband, Michael, of Cheyenne, Wyoming; a son, Joshua A. Lowery, of Houston, Texas; a stepson, Shawn Michael Norman, of Marion, Illinois; two grandchildren, Blaine A. Schmidt and Madeline S. Schmidt, of Cheyenne, Wyoming; a brother, Ronald Duane Lowery, of South Elgin, Illinois; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Myrna Geittmann, of Marion, Illinois; two brothers-in-law, J. Greg Geittmann, of Marion, Illinois, and William F. Geittmann, of Richmond, Kentucky; and an aunt, Wilma Daniels, of Fort Myers, Florida. He was predeceased by his parents; and a sister, Verla Lorraine Lowery.
Memorial services will be at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 30, 2006, at the Knob Noster
Presbyterian Church, 209 E. McPherson, Knob Noster, Missouri, with the Rev. Victor Smith officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Knob Noster
Presbyterian Church.
Memorial services will also be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 1, 2006 at the Blue
Funeral Home, in Marion, Illinois.

Glenn Edwin Lowery, 59, of LaMonte, died Sunday, March 26, 2006, at his home.
He was born April 7, 1946, in Tunnel Hill, Illinois, a son of Donald E. and Orpha M. Lannom Lowery. On April 23, 1966, in Kansas City, Missouri, he was married to Julia M. Stein. On December 31, 1994, in Marion, Illinois, he was married to Suzanne Geittmann
Norman, who survives of the home.
