Mrs. Mahalovich was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was a production worker at Tyson Foods until becoming ill.

Also surviving are two sons, Bobby Bishop, of Springfield, and Freddie Curry, of
Cole Camp; two daughters, Cathy Geotz, and her husband, Kevin, of Sedalia, and Julie Douglas, and her husband, Steve, of Cole Camp; two step sons, Brian Mahalovich and Brandon Mahalovich, both of Sedalia; two step daughters, Kena Mahalovich, of Indiana, and Keri Mahalovich, of Kansas City; her father, Floyd Kronk, of Sedalia; two brothers, Floyd “Sonny” Kronk, Jr., and his wife, Sandy, of Sedalia, and Billy Kronk, of Clinton; two sisters, Lillian Whittington, and her husband, Tommy, of Climax Springs, and Barbara Belt, of Sedalia; ten grandchildren; and a son-in-law, David Williams. She was predeceased by a son, Steven Bryan Bishop; and her mother, Josephine Bailey.

Funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. Friday, June 24, 2005, at Heckart/Gillespie Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Russell Willoughby officiating. Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Justin McGinnis, Hank Kronk, James Kronk, Dilbert Clark,
Scotty Whittington and Chris Whittington. Honorary pallbearers will be Davey Williams, Briana Williams, Katlyn Geotz, Dylan Landes, Courtnee Geotz, Connor Landes, Allie Bishop, LaCrista Bishop, Nikolas Geotz and Marissa Douglas.

The family will receive friends from 2:30-3:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Alberta Jo Mahalovich, 51, of Lincoln, died Wednesday, June 22, 2005, at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia.

She was born November 20, 1953, in Sedalia, a daughter of Floyd Henry and Josephine Spellmeyer Kronk. On June 7, 1985, in Miami, Okla., she was married to Kenneth Mahalovich, who survives of the home.
