Rentfro Carpenter. In 1932, in Nelson, she was married to Charles Allen Dial, who died July 5, 1971.
Mrs. Dial was a member of First Assembly of God Church. In her younger
years, she led the hymns in sign language. She was a faithful Christian. She enjoyed crocheting and caring for her family. She retired from Bothwell Regional Health Center, where she worked in the lab.
Surviving are a son, Albert Dial, of Kansas City; a sister, Opal Williams, of
Florence, S.C.; two daughters-in-law, June Dial and Barbara Dial, both of Sedalia; five grandchildren, Dawn Compton, Kathy D. Broyles, Steven Dial, Melissa Davis and Timothy Dial; 12 great grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by two sons, Charles Edward Dial and Henry Allen
“Hank” Dial; a brother, William Carpenter; and a great granddaughter, Sarah Dial.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 27, 2006, at Heckart/Gillespie Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Carl West officiating.
Pallbearers will be Timothy Dial, Michael Broyles, Keith Davis, Keith Hall,
Cassidy Broyles and Bradley Davis.
Burial will be in Miller’s Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Miller’s Chapel Cemetery.
Myrtle Eula Dial, 92, of Sedalia, died Sunday morning, December 24, 2006, at Bothwell Regional Health Center.
She was born October 19, 1914, in Kingfisher, Oklahoma, a daughter of Edward and Martha
