Mr. Evans worked in heating and air conditioning for over fifty years. He was
co-founder of Sedalia Rodeo Cowboys Association and a former member of Sedalia Saddle Club. He enjoyed riding horses and spending time with his great
grandchildren.

Surviving are a son, Jim Evans, and his wife, Kathy, of Smithton; a daughter,
Sue Hotsenpiller, of Sedalia; a sister, Pat Stavrakakis, of Modesto, Calif.; two
grandchildren, Tom Hotsenpiller and Larry “Bronc” Hotsenpiller, and his wife,
Shelley; two step grandchildren, Felicia Hughes, and her husband, Brad, and Brian Jasper, and his wife, Kristina; two great grandchildren; and four step great
grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a brother, Bob Evans.

There will be no services. Burial will be in Highland Sacred Gardens at a later
date.

Arrangements are under the direction of Heckart/Gillespie Funeral Home.

Miles J. Evans, 83, of Smithton, died Sunday, Dec. 10, 2006, at his home.

He was born Feb. 16, 1923, in Buffalo, a son of Harley and Lovie Evans.
