Mrs. Hartt was a member of the Genealogical Society. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, collecting antiques, and doing genealogical research. She was a military wife and a farm wife. She sold Avon, managed a laundromat in Germany, and was a census taker.

Surviving are a son, Aaron Charles Hartt, of Sedalia; a grandson, Oran Keyth Hartt Jr., of Fristoe; two step grandsons, Robert Lee Jeffries, of Fristoe, and David Wayne Jeffries, of Sedalia.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her parents; a son, Oran Keyth Hartt; a brother, Bill Woolley; and a sister, Della Faye Woolley.

Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 8, at Crown Hill Cemetery, with Jeff Page officiating.

Pallbearers will be James Gill, Gary Gill, Terry Gill, Andy Gill, Steven "Slim" Green, and Danny Randall.

The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until service time Monday at Heckart Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions are suggested to American Stroke Association.


Movaline Hartt, 85, of Sedalia, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2009, at Bothwell Regional Health Center, surrounded by family and friends.

She was born Dec. 29, 1923, in Elmer, OK, a daughter of Charles Everett and Hazel Lettie Ferguson Woolley. On Dec. 13, 1941, in Altus, OK, she married Claude Melvin Hartt, who died May 19, 2006.
