Mrs. Murray was a member of Women of Moose Chapter 1242. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, spending time with her family and going to the riverboat. She especially enjoyed her granddogs, Haylee and Max. She and her husband worked together in contracting and owned Just-Rite Mini-Storage. She was a Methodist.
Also surviving are a son, James Murray, of Fort Myers, Fla.; a daughter, Janet Barker, of Sedalia; a brother, Russell Petree; four grandchildren, Ronnie Barker, Kent Murray, Terri Barker and Jamie Scroggins; eleven great grandchildren; and two great great granddaughters.
She was predeceased by nine brothers, James Harold, in infancy, Homer, Leon, Carl, Orval, Herbert, Walter “Blackie”, Eddie and John; and two sisters, Bertha Petree, Wanda Jean Griffin.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, October 16, 2006, at Heckart/Gillespie Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Charles Youkey officiating.
Pallbearers will be Bo Coleman, Paul Albin, Terry Emo, O.E. Petree, Larry Petree and Dave Petree.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Margaret Adeline Murray, 85, of Sedalia, died Friday, Oct. 13, 2006, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.
She was born March 23, 1921, in Arrow Rock, a daughter of James Henry and Hazel May Chaney Petree. On April 10, 1937, in California, Mo., she was married to William Murray, who survives of the home.
