Edna Marie Moore, 98, Sedalia, died Friday, March 28, 2003, at the Rest Haven Convalescent Home.
She was born November 3, 1904, in Miami County, Kansas, daughter of Lane and Cora Norman Massey. On May 21, 1937, in Lexington, Missouri, she married G.R. "Bob" Moore, who died December 31, 1999.
Mrs. Moore was a member of First Christian Church. She was a homemaker and had lived in Sedalia most of her life.
Survivors include a granddaughter, Sandy Belford of Stillwater, Oklahoma; and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Floyd Courtney; four brothers; and three sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Heckart/Gillespie Funeral Home with Rev. Russell Willoughby officiating.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Bill Almquist and Kenny Schilb.
Honorary pallbearers will be Chuck and Betty Wendt, Katherine Miller, Mildred Almquist, Doreen Craig, Anna South, Opal Walters, Everett Stumpf, Jack Pasley, and Bill Glenn.
There will be no family visitation. However, friends may call after 8:30 a.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the First Christian Church.
