Nellie Frances Nutt, 69, of Roach, formerly of Houstonia, died Tuesday, June 21, 2005, at her home.
She was born September 11, 1935, in Napton, a daughter of David J. and Helen Newton Walk. On October 11, 1953, in Houstonia, she was married to Allen D. Nutt, who survives of the home.
Mrs. Nutt worked as a secretary for Sears, John Deere and Jatasco Company in Tulsa. She was a member of South Memorial Christian Church in Tulsa. She enjoyed being outdoors and birdwatching.
Also surviving are a son, David Nett, and his wife, Penny, of Atlanta, Ga.; and two grandchildren, Derek Nett and Erica Nett, of Atlanta, Ga.
She was predeceased by two brothers and a sister.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Heckart/Gillespie Colonial Chapel, with Fred Biggs officiating.
Pallbearers will be Derek Nett, Walter Long, Darrin Walk, Paul Kellner, Oliver Bishop and Wally Jeffries.
Honorary pallbearers will be Robert and Helen Pummill, Bernice and Marty Nutt, Ruth and Oliver Bishop, Sherman and Bernita Nutt, and Walter and Jean Long.
Burial will be in Miller’s Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:30-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Missouri Cancer Associates in Columbia.
