Mr. Ohlendorf was a member of the Lutheran church in Marshall, Missouri. He attended Parkview Christian Church. He was a self employed farmer and over the road truck driver. He lived most of his life in Saline County, Missouri. He had lived in Sedalia since 1994 moving here from Marshall.

Survivors include his wife, Madeline Ohlendorf of the home; two daughters, Maricin Henderson, of Gilliam, Missouri and Mimi Hensen and her husband Clyde, of Moundridge, Kansas; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren and a sister, Gladys Taaffee, of Marshall, Missouri. He was preceded in death by a brother, George Ohlendorf and a sister, Florence Bostwick.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date.

Edward John Ohlendorf, 90, of Sedalia, died June 4, 2008, at Bothwell Regional Health Center.

He was born May 1, 1918, in Marshall Missouri a son, of Herman and Lillie Christman Ohlendorf. On May 23, 1994, in Miami, Oklahoma, he married Madeline Goodson Long, who survives of the home.
