Kenneth DeHaven Owens, Jr., 73, of Sedalia, died Friday, November 11, 2005, at his home.
He was born June 7, 1932, in Sedalia, a son of Kenneth DeHaven and Dorothy Boehme Owens. On January 22, 1960, he married Yvonne Ramirez, who survives.
Mr. Owens was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a real estate property manager.
Surviving are two sons, Kenneth Owens III, of Enid, Okla., and Geoffrey DeHaven, of Belgium; two daughters, Dorianne Owens, of Marina, Calif., and
Captain Yvonne Marie Heib, of Vass, N.C.; a brother, James W. Owens, of La Jolla, Calif.; and nine grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at 12 p.m. Friday at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in
Higginsville, with military honors by VFW Post 2591. There will be no visitation. The family suggests contributions to the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2591,
