Larry Dwaine. Puffinbarger, 64 of Sedalia, died Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at University of Missouri Hospital, Columbia.
He was born on March 24, 1943 in Ottumwa, Iowa a son of Donald Keith and Alta Belle Ford Puffinbarger. On August 30, 1962 he married Judy E. McQuate in Ashland, Ohio who survives of the home.
Mr. Puffinbarger was a Conductor/Brakeman on the Burlington-Northern Railroad and Amtrak. He also worked in construction.
He was a member of the Moose Lodge, American Legion and was a Mason and Shriner. Mr. Puffinbarger was an Air Force Veteran of the Cuban Conflict.
Survivors include a son, Donald Keith (Barney) Puffinbarger, of Independence; a daughter, Serenna Thornton, of Sedalia; a sister, Connie Baldwin, of Conyers, Ga.; a brother Jack Puffinbarger, of Eldon, Mo; two grandchildren; Angel and Glenn Thornton.
Memorial services will be held at10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 2, 2008 at Heckart Funeral Home.
Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2591 will conduct military honors at the funeral home.
