Mr. Craig owned and operated Craig Pump Sales and Service, retiring in 2004. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2591 and Sedalia Moose Lodge 1494. He enjoyed gardening and piddling around on his farm. He was an Army Veteran of World War II and lived most of his life in Sedalia.

Survivors include five sons, Gaylon Craig, of Sedalia, Kent Craig, and his wife, Lisa, of Port Saint Lucie, Fla., Mike Craig and his wife, Tammy, of Breckenridge, Colo., Jeff Craig, and his wife, Nancy, of Republic, and Barry Craig, of Jefferson City; six daughters, Linda Saylor, of Sedalia, Jeanie Langston, of Sedalia, Nancy Dieckhaus, and her husband, Mark, of Kansas
City, Debbie Eppes, and her husband, Joe, of Sedalia, Pam Ollison, and her husband, Keith,
of Smithton, and Becky Nace, and her husband, David, of Kansas City; 17 grandchildren,
Shelley Lowry, Craig Guffin, Marala Helms, Bryon Guffin, Justin Wolf, Eric Langston, Erica
Friedly, Ashley Wolf, Nolan Smith, Cory Eppes, Krista Graves, Brandon Smith, Colton Craig,
Shelby Nace, Peter Craig, Alex Craig and Evan Craig; 13 great grandchildren and one great
great grandchild.

He was predeceased by four brothers, Emory Craig, Forrest Craig, Marion Craig, Glen Craig; and two sisters, Bernice Bullard and Maxine Baker.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 26, 2007, at Heckart Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Craig Guffin, Eric Langston, Nolan Smith, Brandon Smith, Bryon Guffin, Justin Wolf, Cory Eppes, Colton Craig and Peter Craig.

Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

The family suggests memorial contributions to Moose Heart School.
Russell C. Craig, 83, of Sedalia, died Saturday, April 21, 2007, at his home.

He was born July 14, 1923, in Knob Noster, a son of Irl and Florence Blaine Craig. On Dec. 31, 1942, in Windsor, he married Katherine Marie Baird, who preceded him in death on
Oct. 16, 2003.
