Delbert Lee Reeves, 74, of Sedalia, died Monday, October 27, 2003 at Four Season's Living Center.
He was born November 23, 1928, in Temple, Oklahoma, son of Walter Lee and Mabel Collier Reeves. On March 19, 1964, in Enid, Oklahoma, he married Joyce A. Walden, who survives of the home.
Mr. Reeves was a United States Army Veteran of World War II. For most of his life he was a salesman and a self-employed tower painter.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce A. Reeves of the home; two sons, Donald Reeves of Buffalo, Missouri, and Thomas Reeves of Green Ridge, Missouri; five daughters, Valarie Brantley of Sedalia, Kelly Jo Guzman of San Jose, California, Barbara Reeves of Sedalia, Laura Sprinkle of Sedalia, Dorothy Loges of Tunas, Missouri; a sister, Floyce Gregory of Lubbock, Texas; twelve grandsons; eight granddaughters; three great-granddaughters; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Walter; his mother, Mabel; and his half-brother, Billy Don Rumbaugh.
Burial will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, November 3 in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis.
