Ronald Paul Hays, 58, of Austin, Texas, formerly of Sedalia, passed away Thursday, November 19, 2009, at Seton Medical Center in Austin.
He was born April 24, 1951, in Cole Camp, a son of August L. and Edith L. Jobe Hays.
Mr. Hays was a dispatcher for ATEX trucking line in Austin, Texas. He enjoyed working with computers.
Surviving are his siblings, Leslie Hays (wife Carolyn) of Austin, TX Larry Hays (wife Alice) of Benbrook, TX, Esther Katz (husband Robert), of Lake Park, FL,
Debra Mutz (husband Walter), of Sedalia, Mo Pamela Bird (husband Shane), of Covington, LA, and Michael Hays, of Oklahoma City, OK; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father August L. Hays and mother Edith L. Hays and sister, Inez Hays, in infancy.
Graveside services will be at Union Cemetery at 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, November 24, 2009, with Ron Jobe officiating.
Casket bearers will be Jeremy Ives, Vincent Merys, Kyle Brown, Michael Hays, John Hays and Shane Bird.
Burial will be in Union Cemetery in Florence.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 A.M .to 10:00 A.M., Tuesday at Heckart Funeral Home.
