Francisco Rubio, 16, of Knob Noster, Missouri, died Thursday afternoon, July 31, 2003, at the Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri as a result of an accident.

Francisco was born August 2, 1986, in Paracho Michoacan, Mexico, son of Gilberto and Amalia Nolasco Rubio.

Survivors include his mother, Amalia Rubio of Mexico; his father, Gilberto Rubio of Knob Noster; three brothers, Gabriel Rubio of Knob Noster, Isidro Rubio of Knob Noster, and Alberto Rubio of Minnesota; and two sisters, Esperanza Rubio of Mexico and Juana Rubio of Mexico.

Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Heckart/Gillespie Colonial Chapel with the Rev. Efrain Baeza officiating.

Burial will be in Paracho Michoacan, Mexico.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Heckart/Gillespie Funeral Home.
