Alice Louise Schreiber, 91, of Sedalia, died Tuesday, August 31, 2004 at
Bothwell Regional Health Center.
She was born July 17, 1913, in Denver, Colorado, daughter of Joseph Moffett
and Mary Virginia Bacigalupe De La Barre. On December 25, 1936, in Jefferson City, she was married to Dorsey Emil Schreiber, who died November 4, 1999.
Mrs. Schreiber was a member of First Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Willing Workers Sunday School class. She attended parochial school for six years and graduated from Jefferson City High School in 1932. She moved to the Sedalia community from Jefferson City in 1964.
Survivors include a niece, Susan Seltzer; two great nieces, Debra Seltzer and
Wendy Hutton; and a great great niece, Cassidy Hutton, all of Whittier, California.
She was predeceased by a brother, Joseph De La Barre; and two sisters, Edith Kluck and Irene Springsteen.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, September 3, 2004 at Heckart/Gillespie Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Dr. Drew Hill officiating.





Pallbearers will be Herschel Cantrell, John Drenon, Jack Chambers, Pete
Stober and Bob Gooch.
Honorary pallbearers will be Don Leiter, Jack Crawford, Ralph Huff and Bob
Bailey.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday and after 8:30 a.m. Friday at
Heckart/Gillespie Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m.
Friday.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the Salvation Army.
