Grace Schwarz, 95, of Sedalia, died Saturday evening, October 4, 2003 at Fair View Nursing Home.

She was born July 3, 1908, in New Lebanon, Missouri, daughter of Eugene and Mamie Elizabeth Lewis Tomlinson. In April 1929, she married Ralph Hall, and on March 16, 1952, she married Arthur Schwarz, who died December 23, 1966.

Mrs. Schwarz was a member of the Broadway Presbyterian Church. Her family came to Sedalia in 1915. Grace graduated from Smith Cotton High School in 1926. She worked in the office of Milton Oil Company, Swift and Company, and retired from Adco Inc. in 1974.

Survivors include a son, Robert E. Hall of Overland Park, Kansas; three grandsons; six great grandchildren; a son-in-law, Kenneth DeHaven of Sedalia; a step daughter, Marilyn DeHaven of Sedalia; and two step grandsons. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mamie Belle Tomlinson and Elizabeth Tomlinson.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Heckart/Gillespie Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Dr. Dennis Haines officiating.

Pallbearers will be Gary Creek, Bob Pirtle, Bob LeBow, Jack Alfrey, Jimmy Moore and Walter Loveland

Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the Heckart/Gillespie Funeral Home.

The family suggests contributions to the Broadway Presbyterian Church.
