Betty Ann Self, 68, of Sedalia, died Friday, Feb. 6, 2009, at Bothwell Regional Health Center.
She was born May 16, 1940, in Blackwater, a daughter of James Lee and Lola Mae Racy Self.
Mrs. Self worked as a police dispatcher. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, crafts, crocheting and gardening.
Surviving are a son, Chuck Malan, of Sedalia; a sister, Maggie Bardin, of Sedalia; and two brothers, Raymond Self, of South Carolina, and Junior Self, of Virginia.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Edna Wansing.
According to Betty’s wishes, there will be no services.
Arrangements are under the direction of Heckart Funeral Home.
