Oksana Sheremeta, 37, of Sedalia, died Saturday, March 8, 2008, at Boone Hospital Center, Columbia.She was born May 24, 1970, in Ukraine, a daughter of Stepan and Mariya Sologub Garnik. On September 24, 1989, in Ukraine, she married Aleksandr Sheremeta, who survives of the home.Oksana was a member of Ukraine Parkview Christian Church. She was a homemaker and had live in the Sedalia area for nine years.Other survivors include four sons, Valeriy, Vladik, Tim, and Arthur; three daughters, Liliya, Dina and Nadiya, all of the home; three brothers, Stepan Garnik, of Sedalia, Vasiliy Garnik, of Sedalia and Ivan Garnik, of South Carolina; and a sister, Lyudmila Ivanov, of Maine; her father, Stepan Garnik.She was predeceased by her mother, Mariya Garnik.Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Heckart Funeral Home with Anatoliy Blagonya and Gregoriy Limanskiy officiating.Pallbearers will be Stepan Garnik, Vasiliy Garnik, Sergey Ivanov, Vitaliy Ivanov, Uriy Kozhukharenko and Sergey Galchenko.Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.Visitation and Church services will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, 2008, at Heckart Funeral Home.
