William H. Shockley, 59, of Sedalia, died Tuesday, July 24, 2007, at the University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics as a result of a motorcycle accident.

He was born January 25, 1948, in Stover, Missouri, a son of Roy and Bertha Wilson Shockley. He was predeceased by his companion, Sharon Fuget on October 11, 2005.
Mr. Shockley owned and operated an auto mechanic shop. He enjoyed working
on cars and especially loved antique cars. He had lived in Sedalia most of his life.

Survivors include two daughters, Angela Pogue and her husband Everette, of
Sedalia and Teresa Beal and her husband Ricky, of Moberly; a son, William Shockley,
Jr., of Kansas City, Missouri; his mother, Bertha Andrews, of Moberly; three brothers,
Jesse Shockley, Jimmy Shockley and David Shockley; three sisters, Paula Shockley,
Darlene Shockley and Karol Lucas; a half brother, J.R. Andrews; a half sister, Sharon
Andrews; three grandchildren, Nicolas Pogue, Michael Humphrey and Chantel Beal.

He was also  predeceased by two brothers, Kenneth Shockley and Roy Shockley,
Jr.; a daughter, Rhonda Shockley and his father, Roy Shockley.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 28, 2007, at the home
of Jesse Shockley, located at 58563 Ridgeview Estates off of State Rt. O in Hannibal,
Missouri. All family and friends are invited to attend. Condolences may also be sent
