Wilma Jean Shrock, 72, of Sedalia, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2009, at her home.
She was born Nov. 7, 1936, in Lee's Summit, MO, a daughter of Annis Leroy and Pearl Busick. On Dec. 26, 1952, in Kansas City, KS, she married Ray E. Shrock, who survives of the home.
Mrs. Shrock enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, fishing, cooking, playing the lottery and going to the casino.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Doris Myers, and husband, Sonny, of Kansas City, MO, Karen May, and husband, Garry, of Benton, IL, Don Shrock, and wife, Polly, of Sedalia, Chuck Shrock, of Sedalia, Glenn Shrock, and significant other, Trish Jones, of Sedalia, and Lorrie Demand, and husband, Mitch, of Sedalia; a brother, Junior Busick; a sister, Goldie Edwards; three step-sisters, Sarah, Kay and Dorothy; 17 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; several brothers and sisters; and a granddaughter, Stephanie Jennings.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, May 15, at Heckart Funeral Home, with the Rev. Andy May officiating.
Pallbearers will be David Myers, James Ring, Tyler Shrock, Quentin Barnes and Tiffany Rader.
Burial will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Heckart Funeral Home.
