Zelma Mae Mosier Shull, 90, of Sedalia, died Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2007, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.
She was born July 28, 1917, in Sedalia, a daughter of Benjamin L. and Bertha L. Homan Otten. On July 26, 1934, in Sedalia, she was married to Leo A. Mosier, who died Sept. 25, 1967. In 1969, in Sedalia, she was
married to Rev. Ernest C. Shull, who died in 1986.
Mrs. Shull was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She worked as a machine
operator at Lamy Manufacturing. She owned and operated E-Z Go-cart Speedway.
She enjoyed quilting, cooking, feeding and watching her squirrels, and spending time
with her children and grandchildren.
Surviving are a son, Tim Mosier, and his wife, Mary, of Sedalia; three daughters, Wanda Kelley, and her husband, Bob, Debbie Degonia, and her husband, John, and Tammey Young, and her husband, James, all of Sedalia; 12 grandchildren, Cammie, Ronnie, Erica, Lori, Crissy, Jessalin, Donald, Courtney, Scott, Kevin, Lisa and Luellen; and 16 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by two sons, Larry Dale, in infancy, and Richard Wayne; a
daughter, Anita Joy, in infancy; a brother, Harold Otten; and two sisters, Mildred Welton and Verbina Henderson.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, 2007, at Heckart Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ted Francis and the Rev. Dr. Donald J. Allcorn officiating.
Pallbearers will be John Degonia, Jack Hazell, Sam Young, Darrell Scott, Jack Howell and Steven Thomas.
Burial will be in Highland Sacred Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
