Mrs. Sickler attended Emmet Avenue Baptist Church. She worked for Zephr Manufacturing and retired from Hardee’s east in Sedalia. She enjoyed bowling, sewing, gardening and traveling and loved being with her grandchildren. She lived most of her life in the Sedalia area.

Survivors include four grandchildren, Brenda Fockler, Alicia Bass, Dennis C. Rogers and Gary Rogers; ten great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two daughters, Norma Rogers, and Ruby Bass; two brothers, Steven Snider and Albert Snider; and a grandson Brian Rogers.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 8, 2008 at Heckart Funeral Home with Rev. Alvin Sipe officiating.

Burial will be in Williams-Union Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Eric Rogers, Dusty Fockler, Cory Eppes, Gary Heistand, Earl Scroggins and Dave Bass. Honorary bearers will be Carl Rogers, Tony Rogers, Joseph Bass, Dean Fockler, Stormy Eppes and Misty Heistand.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at Heckart Funeral Home.

Lillian Frances Sickler, 92, of Sedalia, died Monday, May 5, 2008, at Bothwell Regional Health Center.

She was born June 4, 1915, in rural Benton, County, a daughter of Ira and Alma Chehaski Snider. On February 11, 1937, in Pettis County, she married Miles Sickler, who died November 27, 1987.
