Charles Rosser “Charlie” Siron Sr., 88, of Chillicothe, formerly of Sedalia, died Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2005, at Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe.
He was born January 20, 1917, in Dresden, a son of Oscar and Anna Richter Siron.
Mr. Siron was a member of Broadway Baptist Church, Pettis Chapter 279 Order of the Eastern Star, Sedalia Lodge 236 and White Shrine. He delivered for Tullis-Hall Dairy for 33 years. He enjoyed gardening, hunting and fishing.
Surviving are three sons, Terry Siron, and his wife, Judy, of Virginia Beach, Virg., Paul Siron, of Belleville, Mich., and Charles Siron Jr., and his wife, Tina, of Monett; two daughters, Shirley Buchanan, and her husband, Ken, of Columbia, and Beverly Worley, of Kansas City; a sister, Dora Dale Mittenburg, of Texas; 14 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 24, 2005, at Heckart/Gillespie Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Chris Cook officiating.
Pallbearers will be Brad Buchanan, Andrew Worley, Sean Siron, Paul Siron Jr., Chad Siron, Jordon Siron and Ian Siron.
Burial will be in Highland Sacred Gardens, with military honors by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2591.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
