Susan Elizabeth Lutjen, 47, of Mora, died Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2008, at Bothwell
Regional Health Center.
She was born Aug. 9, 1961, in Decatur, IL, a daughter of Wayne and Kathy Sue Scott Howe. On March 18, 1978, in Sedalia, she was married to Earl Samuel Lutjen Jr., who survives of the home.
Susan enjoyed crocheting, gardening and taking care of her grandchildren. She was a Lutheran.
Surviving are her husband, of the home; four daughters, Sara Lampe, and her husband, Eric, of Willard, Stephanie Hunter, and her husband, Jerry, of Marshall, Stacey O’Donnell, and her husband, Jim, of Sedalia, and Shelley Lutjen, of the home; five grandchildren, Samantha, Hannah, Lindsey and Eric Wayne Lampe, and Robert O’Donnell; her mother and stepfather, Kathy and Franklin Richardson, of Mesa, Ariz.; a sister, Jennifer Hill, of Beaverton, Oreg.; her maternal grandparents, Dean and Mary Scott, of Mount Pulaski, IL; many aunts, uncles and cousins, of Illinois.
She was predeceased by a son, in infancy; her father; a brother, James Howe; and a sister, in infancy.
Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, 2008, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Jeremy Freeman officiating.
Honorary pallbearers will be Eric Lampe, Jerry Hunter, Jim O’Donnell, Joseph Lutjen, Sam Abbey, Steve Beck and Brett Roquet.
