Mr. Nicholson enjoyed buying old cars and fixing them up, and visiting with friends. He had attended River Church in Warsaw.
In addition to his wife, survivors include a daughter, Stephanie Geiler, of Hughesville; a grandson, Kade Geiler; his father, of Sedalia; a brother, Brian Nicholson, of Hughesville; a sister, Candice Brown, of Hughesville; two step-children, Erin Durrill and Gerald Durrill; a step-grandson, Cash Durrill; two nieces and one nephew.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 7, 2009, at the American Legion building in Hughesville.
Burial will be in Hughesville High Point Cemetery.

Stephen Eugene Nicholson, 50, of Sedalia, passed away Thursday, June 4, 2009, at his home.
He was born April 12, 1959, in Sedalia, a son of Harrell Lee and Sandra Horn Nicholson. In 2008, he married Connie Smith Durrill, who survives of the home.
