Clarence Wallace Stone, 91, of Sedalia, died Friday, August 25, 2006, at Four
Seasons Living Center.
He was born June 26, 1915, in Pleasant Green, a son of Thomas B. and Bessie
Pulley Stone. On April 11, 1960, in Sedalia, he was married to Adella Mae Smith, who died March 27, 1993.
Surviving are three sons, Clarence W. Stone Jr., of Atlanta, Ga., Terry G.
Stone, of Centertown, and Arthur Stone, of Jefferson City; two daughters, Barbara Allgire and Linda Stimpel, both of Jefferson City; four grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by two daughters, Mary Stone, in infancy, and Shirley
Wingate.
Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday, August 28, 2006, at Pleasant Green Cemetery, with the Rev. Dr. Donald J. Allcorn officiating.
There will be no family visitation. Friends may call from 8:30 a.m. to noon
Monday at Heckart/Gillespie Funeral Home.
The family suggests memorial contributions to a charity of the donor’s choice.
