Ms. Stonecipher was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. She owned operated L&L Café, in Sedalia. She loved to read, crochet, cook and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. She lived most of her life in Sedalia.
Survivors include, three daughters, Christina Edwards and her husband Rusty, of Sedalia, Jennifer Gardner and her husband Jody, of Sedalia, and Amber Stonecipher, of Sedalia; a son, Philip Stonecipher and his wife Evelyn, of Sedalia; twelve grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 16, 2008, at Heckart Funeral Home with Rev. Randy May Officiating.
Pallbearers will be Rusty Edwards, Jody Gardner, Devin Hughes, and Evertt Gardner.
Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Monday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Arthritis Foundation.
Linda Kay Stonecipher, 61, of Sedalia, died Thursday, June 12, 2008, at Bothwell Regional Health Center.
She was born October 15, 1946, in Brookfield, Missouri, a daughter of Harley and Effie Gupton Stonecipher.
