Donald Lee Streeter, 71, of Otterville, died Thursday, Sept. 14, 2006, at his home.
He was born Feb. 19, 1935, in Sedalia, a son of Charles Samuel and Edna Marie Waller Streeter. On June 8, 1956, in Otterville, he was married to Mary Etta Page, who survives of the home.
Mr. Streeter was a member of First Baptist Church of Otterville. He was a self-employed salesman, selling Amsoil and various other products through the years. He
also officiated various sports for 33 years. He enjoyed fishing, deer hunting and watching races, especially World of Outlaws and Nascar.
Also surviving are three daughters, Debbie Calder, and her husband, Brad, of Fulton, Connie Moore, and her husband, Rick, of Pilot Grove, and Dana Sewell, and her husband, Wayne, of Otterville; his stepmother, Virginia Streeter, of Sedalia; his brother, Robert Streeter, of Fenton; and six grandchildren, Joshua Boeck, Ethan Boeck, Aaron Moore, Sarah Moore, Brandon Sewell and Carter Sewell. He was predeceased by a brother, in infancy.
Funeral services will be at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, September 17, 2006, at First Baptist Church of Otterville, with the Rev. Ron Marsh, Jeffrey Page and the Rev. Dr. Jerry Brock officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Ellison, Stanley Potts and Jim Halgren. Private burial will be at sunset Sunday at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Otterville.
Friends may call after 1 p.m. Sunday at the church, where the family will receive
friends from 3 p.m. until service time Sunday.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Bothwell Hospice or American
Heart Association.
