Mrs. Stultz was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church, the ministerial alliance, and the Open Door board. She was a volunteer for Bothwell Hospice and was a Head Start coordinator for nine counties. She had served as pastor of the Otterville Methodist Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Zeleta Kay Mabry, and husband, David, of Green Ridge, JoAnn Baker, and husband, Robert, of Cape Girardeau; two sons, Michael Lee Stultz, and wife, Loqueeta, of Mora, and Kermit Ronald Stultz, and wife, Tammie, of Sedalia; 14 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Heckart Funeral Home, with Pastor Wayne Colflesh officiating.

Casket bearers will be Russell Mabry, Jonah Mabry, Robert Mabry, Ben Stultz, David Mabry Jr. and Dennis Cloud.

Honorary bearers will be Dean Embry, John Rucker, Jim Stark, C.O. Green, Robert Baker and Leonard Yankee.

Burial will be in La Monte Cemetery

The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Heckart Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Epworth United Methodist Church.

Zelena Grace Stultz, 84, of Sedalia, passed away Monday, August 3, 2009, at Lincoln Community Nursing Home.

She was born November 19, 1924, in Sedalia, the daughter of Payton Coleman and Zella Grace Conn MacCurdy. On May 12, 1943, in Sedalia, she married Kermit Rhodes Stultz, who died September 4, 1980.
