On August 6, 1983, in Newburgh, N.Y., he was married to Eileen Brady. On July 22, 1997, in Alexandria, Virg., he was married to Melody Radnejad.

Mr. Lee was an adjunct American history and government professor at State Fair Community College and had previously served as SFCC’s extended campus coordinator in Eldon. He was a member at large of the Academic Quality Improvement Team at SFCC.

He was a lieutenant colonel in the Army National Guard, retiring in 2002, and
served in the U.S. Air Force for a total of 26 years.

He enjoyed spending time with his children, reading political and current events material, horseback riding, running, and restoring his historic home.

Mr. Lee announced his candidacy for 116th district state representative just last
Saturday. He was a Democrat.

Surviving are two sons, Kyle Thomas Lee and Devon John Lee, both of Olathe, Kan.; three daughters, Piper Brady Lee, of Olathe, Kan., Emily Frances Lee and Shannon Joan Lee, both of Cole Camp; a brother, Sean Lee, of Hudson, N.Y.; and a sister, Margaret “Maggie” Lee, of Stilwell, Kan.

He was predeceased by a brother, Francis Lee.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, October 31, 2005, at Heckart/ Gillespie Colonial Chapel. Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2591 will conduct military honors at the funeral home.

Burial will be at a later date in St. Joseph Cemetery in Somers, N.Y.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home.

of the funeral home.

Retired Lieutenant Colonel Thomas Joseph Lee, 55, of Cole Camp, died Wed., Oct. 26, 2005, in Sedalia.

He was born October 1, 1950, in Dublin, Ireland, a son of John and Joan Murray Lee.
