Hazel Mae Uhlenkamp, 60, of Green Ridge, died Saturday, March 19, 2005, at her home.
She was born April 8, 1944, in Lebanon, a daughter of Homer and Hilda Simpson Beard. On August 4, 1979, in Sedalia, she was married to David C. Uhlenkamp, who survives of the home.
Mrs. Uhlenkamp was a member of First Baptist Church of Green Ridge. She worked as a spooler at Broderick & Bascom. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and traveling to Minnesota.
Also surviving are two sons, Paul Robinson and Quintin Tickamyer, both of Sedalia; a daughter, April Lindsey, of Green Ridge; ten grandchildren; two great grandchildren; her mother and step father, Hilda and Linville Harms, of Sedalia; a sister-in-law, Nyla Beard, of Green Ridge; two nephews, Steve Beard and Scott Beard; three step brothers; and two step sisters.
She was predeceased by her father; and a brother, Frank Beard.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2005, at Heckart/Gillespie Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Bill Talley officiating.
Pallbearers will be Bill Mergen, Gary Ditton, Donald Sullivan, Robert D. Young, and nephews, Steve Beard and Scott Beard.
Burial will be in Hickory Point Cemetery near Green Ridge.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 6:30-8 p.m. Monday.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Bothwell Hospice.
