Zachary was an Army veteran, serving in Iraq for fifteen months. He worked construction.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his mother, Edith Salmons, and her husband, Robert, of Warsaw; two brothers, Matthew West, of Sedalia, and John Brockman, of Warsaw; a sister, Candis Christensen, of Wichita, Kan.; two step brothers, Robert Salmons, Jr., of San Antonio, Texas, and Christopher Salmons, of Clarksville, Tenn.; and a step sister, Stephanie Bales, of Sedalia.
He was predeceased by his father; and grandparents, Edward and Margaret Hall.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Monday, Dec. 29, 2008, at Heckart Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Monday. Military honors will be conducted by the U.S. Army.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the family.
Zachary Eugene West, 22, of Sedalia, died Friday, Dec. 26, 2008, as a result of an auto accident in Sedalia.
He was born Dec. 12, 1986, in Columbia, a son of Billy Eugene and Edith I. Hall West. On March 6, 2008, in Killeen, Texas, he was married to Sasithorn Sarnsuppasit, who survives.
