William James Hill, 59, of Hughesville, died Saturday, Aug. 4, 2007, at his home.
He was born Sept. 4, 1947, in Oakland, Calif., a son of Chavel James and
Dorothy McClellan Hill. On Oct. 4, 1968, in Sedalia, he was married to Gladys L. McNeal, who survives of the home.
Mr. Hill enjoyed hot rods, woodworking, and collecting knives and Hot Wheels cars. He worked as a tree trimmer. He was a Pentecostal.
Also surviving are seven sons, James A. Hill, of Sedalia, Rueben Hill, and his
wife, Mary, of Sedalia, William Hill, and his wife, Amanda, of Hughesville, Larry
Hill, and his wife, Jennifer, of Sedalia, Charles Hill, and his wife, Katie, of Sedalia,
David Hill, and his wife, Nikkie, of Hughesville, and Fred Hill, and his wife, Sherry, of Sedalia; a daughter, Sabrina Hill, and her finacé, Robert Hursman, of Hughesville; honorary children, Christina Armstrong, of Sedalia, and Roy Martin, of Green Ridge; a sister, Dorothy Perry, of Sedalia; 22 grandchildren, Cheyenne, Cherokee, Dakota, Brianna, Cody, Courtney, Heather, Jacob, Caleb, Brittney, Destiny, Tyler, Zachary, Matthew, Ashlyn, Ian, Jeremiah, Raven, Krislynn, Sky Marley, Brandon and Chandler.
Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2007, at Crown Hill Cemetery, with the Rev. David Coke officiating.
Pallbearers will be Bill Hill, Charles Hill, Fred Hill, Larry Hill, David Hill and Sabrina Hill.
Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Albers, Larry Reid Nelson, Gordon “Junior” McDowell, Greg McDowell, Charles A. McNeal and Roy Martin.
