Mrs. Wilkie enjoyed crocheting, knitting, walking, shopping with her daughters and sister, taking Sunday rides and listening to country music.

Surviving are three daughters, Vicki May, and her husband, Ray, of Sedalia,
Mary Cantos, and her husband, Mike, of Guam, and Peggy Wheeler, and her
husband, Scott, of Spokane, Wash.; three brothers, George Sanders, of Sedalia, Sam Sanders, of Arizona, and Jimmie Sanders, of Sedalia; a sister, Mary Ross, of Sedalia; ten grandchildren, Dale May, Amanda Knaebel, Robert May, Christopher Wheeler, Andrew Wheeler, Brittany Wheeler, Rachel Cantos, Joshua Cantos, Nathan Cantos and Rebekah Cantos; and a great grandson, Tyler Michael Knaebel.

She was predeceased by a brother, John Sanders; and two siblings in infancy,
Howard Sanders and Juanita Pearl Sanders.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 4, 2006, at Heckart/Gillespie Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Ron Griffith officiating.

Pallbearers will be Charlie Ross, Ray May, Scott Wheeler, Mike Cantos, Dale
May and Robert May.

Burial will be in Salem Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the
funeral home.

The family suggests memorial contributions to ALS Foundation.
Jeanette Cathleen Wilkie, 68, of Sedalia, died Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2006, at Bothwell Regional Health Center.

She was born Jan. 8, 1938, in Houstonia, a daughter of Ernest George and Cora Jane Shull Sanders. On Jan. 8, 1955, in Sedalia, she was married to Robert James Wilkie.
