Edna Marie Wills, 80, of Sedalia, died Saturday, January 3, 2004 at Katy Manor Nursing Home in Pilot Grove.

She was born March 13, 1923, near Nelson, in Cooper County, daughter of Edwin and Myrtle Parker McMullin.  On November 20, 1949, in Sedalia, she married Virgil E. Wills, who survives of the home.

Mrs. Wills was a member of First Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School for many years.  She enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, cooking and homemaking.

Also surviving are a son, Ronald G. Wasson, of Blue Springs; two brothers, Charles McMullin, of Warsaw, and Carl McMullin, of Duncan, Oklahoma; three sisters, Naomi Price, of Duncan, Oklahoma, Mary Ruth Yessen, of Overland Park, Kansas, and Beulah Houseworth, of Versailles; two grandsons, Scott Wasson and Mark Wasson; and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church, with Dr. Drew Hill officiating. 

Pallbearers will be Scott Wasson, Mark Wasson, Owen Fox, Bobby Lee, Frank Ellis and Bob Bailey.

Burial will be in Highland Sacred Gardens.

Friends may call from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday at the Heckart/Gillespie Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 6:30 - 8 p.m. Monday.  Friends may also sign the guest register online at www.heckart-gillespie.com. 

The family suggests memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association.
