Oretha Sedonia Wolf, 94, of Sedalia, died Tuesday, June 21, 2005, at Rest Haven Convalescent Home.
She was born November 5, 1910, in Florence, a daughter of Seth Clark II and
Lucy Lee Shaw White. On October 26, 1940, she was married to Henry V. Wolf, who died February 10, 1981.
Mrs. Wolf was a 1933 graduate of Smith-Cotton High School. She worked for
J.A. Lamy Manufacturing for a number of years, became a stay-at-home mom, and then returned to Lamy’s until an auto accident forced an early retirement in 1970. She was a member of Parkview Christian Church.
Surviving are two sons, John E. Wolf, and his wife, Helene, of Florence, and
Gerald L. Wolf, and his wife, Dolores, of Otterville; six grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a son, James J. Wolf; two brothers, Seth Clark White
III and William White; and two sisters, Margaret Lewis and Augusta Pangburn.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Heckart/Gillespie Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Rodney Brown officiating.
Pallbearers will be Don Dexter, Jeff Wolf and Robert Long.
Burial will be in Highland Sacred Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Thursday at Heckart/Gillespie
Funeral Home.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Parkview Christian Church.
