Mrs. Wolfe loved her grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, playing bingo, playing cards on Saturday nights, watching the cooking show with Paula Jean, and the Oprah Show. She had worked at Wal-Mart for 18 years. She attended Broadway Baptist Church. She lived in Sedalia all of her life.

Also surviving are a son, Jason Edward, and his wife, Crystal Dawn, of Sedalia; a daughter, Crystal Dawn Paredes, and her husband, Ruby, of Otterville; her parents of Sedalia; a sister, Cindy Ditzfeld; four brothers, Burl Brown, Talmadge Brown, Danny Brown and Jimmy Brown, all of Sedalia; and three grandchildren, Eric Wolfe, Christian Wolfe and Shay Paredes.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 26, 2005, at Heckart/Gillespie Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Dr. Donald Allcorn officiating.

Pallbearers will be Talmadge Brown, Jimmy Brown, Danny Brown, Dale Vinson, Allen Wolfe and Ruby Paredes.

Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Heckart/Gillespie Funeral Home.

The family suggests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society or to the American Diabetes Association.


Linda Kay Wolfe, 50, of Sedalia, died Sunday, October 23, 2005, at her home.

She was born November, 16, 1954, in Sedalia, a daughter of Chester Curtis and Betty Stephens Brown. On June 15, 1972, in Sedalia, she married Darrell Edward Wolfe, who survives of the home.
