Marilyn Marie Woolery, 63, of Sedalia, passed away Sunday, January 1, 2012, at her home.
She was born July 4, 1948, in Sedalia, a daughter of Paul and Elsie Snorgrass Smith. On January 11, 1969, in Sedalia, she married Wayne Woolery, who survives of the home.
Mrs. Woolery was a member of Parkview Christian Church. She was the head cook at Parkview School. She enjoyed cooking, cross stitch and loved taking care of her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, survivors include two daughters, Abby Bellich (Merv), of Nevada, MO, and Mindy Lefevers (Tony), of Sedalia; a sister, Carole Grimes (John); a niece, Cheryl Grimes; a brother-in-law, Willard Woolery (Sharon), of Sedalia; two nephews, Scott and Jason Woolery; a niece, Megan Grimm, of Sedalia; four grandchildren, John Wayne, Allan, Jackson and Kelsie; and several great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a grandson, Walker Lefevers.
A celebration of life will be held at 5:00 p.m. Friday at Heckart Funeral Home, with the Rev. Rodney Brown officiating.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.
