Nicolas Gallagher; granddaughters-in-law, Karri Gallagher and Carol Burrows; seven great grandchildren; one great grandpuppy; and her beloved cat, Baby.
Our Mom was a first generation Californian, and a graduate of Stockton High School. The daughter of Samuel and Carolyn Stover, and sister to Leland, Spurge and Leora Stover Morgan. She married our dad, Paul Yager, in 1947. He preceded her in death in 1988.
Mom retired from the Stockton Record after 25 years in the classified ad department. She spent her remaining years caring for her family and the last four enjoying life on the farm in Sedalia, Missouri.
At her request no service will be held.
On Feb. 7th, at the age of 87, after a long illness and gallant fight against Alzheimer’s, cancer and blindness, Mom was called to heaven with her loving family by her side.
