Eulalia Mae Yankee, 86, of Sedalia, died Thursday, July 5, 2007, at Bothwell Regional Health Center.

She was born March 15, 1921, in La Monte, a daughter of Clyde and Erma Mae Wharton Dillon. On March 12, 1941, in Sedalia, she was married to Leonard Norman
Yankee, who survives of the home.
Mrs. Yankee was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church. She enjoyed
crocheting, embroidery, family gatherings, and being with her grandchildren and great
grandchildren.

Also surviving are two daughters, Dorothy Swope, and her husband, John, of
Hughesville, and Shirley Hayworth, and her husband, Charles “Bill”, of Sedalia; a sister, Grace McCorkle, of La Monte; a brother, Gerald Dillon, of Sedalia; three grandchildren, Nancy Thierfelder, Sandra Lide, and Donnie Hayworth; three step grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; 15 step great grandchildren; and five step great great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by three brothers, Raymond, Don and Henry “Jake” Dillon; and a sister, Georgetta White.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Heckart/Gillespie Colonial Chapel, with the Revs. Ben Mulford and Donnie Hayworth officiating.

Pallbearers will be Randy Dillon, Ronnie Dillon, Steve Fischer, Dean Kuhns, Gaylon McCorkle and David White.

Honorary pallbearers will be Edwin Atkins, Bill Bunker, Gary Coulter, Rick Dillon,
Steve Dillon, Mike Fairbanks, David Gerken, Ray Tippie, Jimmy Tyler, Bobby Wheeler, Gary White and Phillip White.

Burial will be in La Monte Cemetery.

Friends may sign the guest book after 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, where the
family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Sunday.

The family suggests memorial contributions to American Lung Association.
