Helen L. Yeager, 92, of Sedalia, died Saturday, Feb. 7, 2009, at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence.
She was born Aug. 21, 1916, in Sedalia, a daughter of Harry and Aleda Bestgen Weseloh. She was married to William "Bill" Yeager, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Yeager was a member of St. Patrick Church and Daughters of Isabella. She enjoyed sewing, watching game shows, gardening, traveling, quilting, and going to the casinos.
Surviving are two sons, Richard Yeager, and his wife, Margaret, of Independence, and Nehl Yeager, and his wife, Connie, of Mebane, N.C.; and four grandchildren, Jason, Rachelle, Bill and Becky Yeager.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Bill Weseloh; and a sister, Lela Short.
A funeral mass will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11, at St. Patrick Church, with Father Linus Evers officiating.
Casket bearers will be Bill Cook, Ed Cook and Steve Cook.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time Wednesday at the church.
Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Patrick Church.
